Kirsten Winkelbauer is an illustrator and designer based out of San Francisco. She graduated with a BFA in Illustration from Academy of Art University and currently works as a full-time freelancer. Her work focuses on fun, brightly colored characters and imagery, and she enjoys experimenting with new mediums often.

In addition to freelance illustration and graphic design, she plays with jewelry making and crafting with materials ranging from resin to stamp making to laser cut wood. She enjoys selling her work at expos, craft shows and conventions, and recently began delving into the world of mural painting.
