Thierry Boulanger is the Co-Founder, CEO and Creative Director of Sabotage Studio, founded in 2016 they’re looking to create retro-inspired video games. They quickly went from 3 employees to a team of 16 all working with towards the idea of creating modern video games that capture the compelling nature of old video games which was his passion since he was a kid. Their first game “The Messenger” (inspired on Ninja Gaiden) was launched in August 2018 and was critically acclaimed and won many awards including the “Best Debut Indie Game of 2018” Award in Los Angeles and the creators of Ninja Gaiden played and praised their game.

Thierry Boulanger and his amazing team are now working on their new video game called “Sea of Stars”, a retro inspired turn based RPG that made over $1.62 Million Canadian Dollars ($1.15 Million USD) in Kickstarter. Sabotage even got Yasunori Mitsuda to compose the music for Sea of Stars. Yasunori Mitsuda is a music composer who composed the music for Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, the Xenosaga series and Inazuma Eleven.

Arryn Troche is a 3D character animator with a focus in action/body mechanics and fight animation. Hedvig H-S is originally from Gothenburg, Sweden, where she studied comic art and have been working since. First as a Comic Book Artist from 2004 to 2009, then in the video game industry from 2009 to 2014 and now as a Layout Artist and Art Director at Slugger Film AB. Her idea of “Aurora the Unicorn” came to her in one afternoon, which she wrote down and had an email from an editor asking for a new script for a book, she gave her that idea and two years later she had a graphic novel done out in the market.

Jenn Ely is based in Portland, OR, where she works as a freelance production designer and visual development artist for various commercial, film, and television animation projects. She began working as a gallery artist after her traditional painting focused BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She later attended Savannah College of Art and Design in the Illustration program, where she discovered her love of design for story telling. She left SCAD to work with Laika Studios as an Art Intern, where she worked on her first animated project, The Boxtrolls in 2012. She has been working in animation ever since, designing colors, environments, characters, and props on a variety of 2D, Cg, VR, and stop motion projects.

Most recently, she has been working as an illustrator on Netflix’s upcoming stop motion animated feature, Wendell & Wild, written by Jordan Peele and Henry Selick, and Directed by Selick. She has also been freelancing as a visual development artist with Locksmith Animation on an upcoming feature, a handful of animated TV series pitches with Dreamworks TV, as well as a variety of commercial pitches and productions for frequent clients, House Special and Bent Image Lab. Her most recent completed project as Production Designer, was season one of The Shivering Truth for Adult Swim, a stop motion series Directed by Cat Solen and Vernon Chatman made at Shadow Machine.
