Karina Ruiz is an illustrator from Santa Barbara living in Los Angeles making great layout designs and character design and also making toys and books. We found Karina’s work through the CTNX event of 2016 and we decided to reach her to pick her brain.

Karina Ruiz had to make a difficult choice to jump to another city in order to be around the opportunities she needed to advance in her art career, however while she had many fears, she found out they were completely unfounded. In this interview we’ll know more about her path towards becoming a pro artist.
